Performance Opportunities

At The Dance Studio we believe the opportunity to perform is an essential part of Dance Training.

We have open house twice a year when parents and friends are invited to watch classes and view work in progress.

We also perform at The Harpenden Highland Gathering in Rothanpstead Park every July performing scottish dances in an outdoor setting.

Other opportunities include Big Dance at The Alban Arena, Larks in The Park at Trestle Arts Base and various school fetes.

All students are invited to participate in our annual choreographic competition held at Trestle Arts Base. This is an opportunity for our pupils to create and perform their own work in a real theatre.

Well Done Everyone !

All students, including the adults take part in our bi annual show which is staged at Harpenden Public Halls. This is a professional production and  the  highlight  of  the  school  calender.      Past  shows  include  The Nutcracker, Cinderella and our magical production of Narnia. This is also a charity event . In 2007 we raised £4000 for Great Ormond St Hospital. This was a magnificent achievement!
